In the second step of your journey with GCI Homes Inc, Justin Langit will connect with you to initiate a thorough evaluation of your homesite. Justin will coordinate with our licensed professionals, including soil engineers, arborists, and surveyors, to ensure the viability of your land for construction. This evaluation will cover utility options and costs and provide preliminary insights into which of our home plans might best suit your parcel. With Matthew’s assistance, you'll begin to narrow down the ideal home to build on your homesite.

 Floor Plan and Design Selection

After your homesite evaluation, step 3 in your journey with GCI Homes Inc involves beginning the floor plan and design selection process. We will determine which of our plans can be accommodated by your homesite and work closely with you to choose the one that best fits your needs. Once the floor plan is selected, we will introduce you to the wide array of design series and features available from Celina’s Design & Series Collections. You will then have a scheduled appointment with Celina Gabel, our Director of Design, to finalize the design choices, including colors and styles from her curated collections. This step ensures that every aspect of your home reflects your tastes and preferences.

Building Your Home

This step marks the exciting phase where construction begins on your new home with GCI Homes Inc. Once your pricing, floor plan and design selections are finalized, our team of skilled builders and craftsmen start the building process. We ensure that every detail of the construction adheres to the highest standards of quality and precision. Our BOYL Construction Manager and President of Construciton will be fully involved with you and managing this project from start of construction to finish. Throughout this stage, we maintain open and consistent communication with you, providing updates and involving you in key decisions to ensure that the project aligns with your expectations. Our commitment is not just to build a home, but to create your dream home, ensuring every element from foundation to finish reflects your vision and lifestyle and your home is your legacy.

Keys to Your Legacy

The final step in your home-building journey with GCI Homes Inc culminates with the physical realization of your dream—receiving the keys to your new home. After the construction is complete, you will participate in a new home orientation (final walkthrough) to ensure everything meets your standards and expectations. Following this, the closing process begins, facilitated by our trusted partner,  Gabel Title Group. At this point, our financing collaborator, Legacy Mortgage, will fund your home loan.

Once all formalities are completed, we warmly welcome you to the GCI Homes Inc Family. You will receive the keys to what was once a dream and is now your enduring legacy. We take pride in handing over not just a set of keys, but a promise of quality and comfort in your new home.

Post-Closing Experience

At GCI Homes Inc, our commitment to your satisfaction extends well beyond the day you receive your keys. In step 6, as you approach 11 months of homeownership, we proactively check in to confirm that the home continues to meet your expectations and needs.

We are backed by the comprehensive national 2-10 Home Buyers Warranty, which includes various layers of protection:

• 1-Year Material and Workmanship Warranty: This covers defects in materials and workmanship within the first year (handled directly by appliance manufacturers).
• 2-Year Systems Warranty: Covering major mechanical systems like plumbing, electrical, and HVAC, which is managed directly through our trusted vendors and trade partners.
• 10-Year Structural Warranty: Ensuring the structural integrity of your home through our 2-10 Warranty provider.

Additionally, we offer an 11-month walkthrough, available upon request, to address any concerns before the warranty period ends. You can also conveniently submit any warranty requests through our online portal during the 11th month. This comprehensive post-closing support ensures that your home remains a source of pride and joy in your life, reinforcing our dedication to your lasting satisfaction as a member of the GCI Homes Inc, family.
